The PCS Connection Manager Interface displays four connection/interaction states including:
If Sprint PCS Connection ManagerSM fails to detect a PCS phone, the following message displays:

The tray, in the center of the Connection Manager interface, details the data transfer rates (data sent, data received, and total data transferred). In this state, these values are all zero because nothing is being transferred.
The GO button is available and the signal strength icon is visible. If image compression is enabled, the image compression icon also appears.

Once the connection is established, the signal strength icon is joined by a transferring/receiving icon and when Sprint PCS Connection ManagerSM is expanded,the transfer rates display in three significant digits.
If ByteMobile data compression is active, you will see the compression icon.

Note: Even though information is displayed about number of bytes sent/received while the connection is running, this is not necessarily the actual amount of data being sent across the network. Do not use this information to estimate billing information.
